Saké Tasting

THURSDAY, MAY 9TH, 6:00 - 8:00 PM: SAKÉ TASTING

Not a wine but a fermented alcoholic beverage made from rice, Saké, like wine, offers many unique flavors and styles, and shares wine’s natural affinity for food. The history and origin of Japanese Saké goes back approximately 2,000 years when rice farming came from China. Since then, rice has been a staple in Japanese cuisine, and Saké, which was originally used to celebrate rice harvests, is enjoyed every day. Michael Pare of L’eft Bank Wine Company will be our guide for this tasting.

The price for this event is $38 per person. Please RSVP by calling the front desk: 608-255-4861
