An Encore luncheon featuring PLATO president, Michael Stevens

Ready to make the most of midlife and beyond? Join up with other Madison Club members at a similar stage in their lives by attending the monthly Encore lunch!

This month we welcome PLATO president Michael Stevens, who will teach us about ways to keep your mind and spirit alive in retirement. PLATO (the Participatory Learning and Teaching Organization) is a community of intellectually curious adults in greater Madison, typically 50 and over. Members explore subjects of interest through discussion groups, lectures, travel, and cultural activities. You’ve spent a career mastering subjects you had to learn - now find out how you can explore what you want to learn!

Michael Stevens is also State Historian of Wisconsin emeritus since retiring from the Wisconsin Historical Society in 2013. His most recent book, The Making of Pioneer Wisconsin: Voices of Early Settlers, was published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press in October 2018.

Luncheon is $19 per person and includes lunch. All members and their guests are welcome. Please register in advance here:
