Kids Baking Classes with Punky Egan: Pate a Choux Sat, May 4, 2019 — 9:00AM to 10:30AM

Punky Egan earned the title of Certified Master Baker, one of less than 200 in the country, from the professional organization RBA (Retail Bakers of America). Throughout her 45-year baking career, she has been the owner of bakeries, co-authored three books, served as Director of the baking program at Madison College, and was even on the Food Network! Now, she is ready to share her wealth of baking knowledge with us. Price is $60 per parent and child pair, which includes baking, instruction and treats to take home!

Pate a choux is a fancy name for the dough we use to make cream puffs and eclairs. In this class we’ll make classic cream puffs and eclairs. We’ll make vanilla pastry cream to fill the eclairs, chocolate ganache to ice the eclairs, and Vanilla Chantilly cream to fill the puffs.

This class is ideal for kids ages 10-14 years old, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Class is limited to 6 children and 6 adults, and both parents and children will participate in activities! Please register in advance here:
